We are currently scheduling bookings for new clients in June.

Rob Boshaw started contracting over 25 years ago doing odd jobs and painting on weekends and after school. He quickly became so busy, he had to hire a couple of friends to keep up with demand. At the age of 15, he had already found his niche.

In 2008, following years of working on innumerable renovations and building projects for others, farmer, foreman and handyman Rob Boshaw started his own business - Vancouver Handyman Services.

The Cross Country Drive to Vancouver

Rob and his wife, Sharylin, renovated their home in Orillia, Ontario, and later sold it for a healthy profit.  In August 2005, they decided to use the proceeds from the sale of their home to live a life-long dream and make the cross-country trek to British Columbia.  They packed their van and a UHAUL trailer, and the Boshaw's drove the Trans Canada Highway for ten days, camping every night at various provincial parks along the way. According to Rob, "That trip is the rite of passage for every Canadian."

Rob and Sharylin finally ended up in Steveston - an old fishing village where the southern arm of the Fraser River meets the Pacific Ocean. It is a very quiet part of Richmond, and they love their new life in BC.

Shortly after arriving in Richmond, BC, Rob was hired as foreman by the engineering firm that was working on the apartment building the Boshaw's were living in. He and his 20 man crew renovated 256 balconies and restored the structure and envelope in three buildings. Although Rob enjoyed the challenge of running this $1.5 million restoration project, he decided to focus on smaller projects for homeowners and providing professional office and retail maintenance services.

Serving stratas, homeowners, and retail and commercial clients in the Lower Mainland, including Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Steveston, Delta, Ladner, Surrey, White Rock, Crescent Beach.

Our goal is to make your next home improvement project a success by providing excellent customer service with reliable, guaranteed workmanship, one job at a time.  Email or contact us at 604-288-7200 so we can discuss your project further.
